Chocolate Peanut Butter & Banana Bonbons

So easy and quick to make you’ll be lounging on a chaise reading a trashy magazine, eating your bonbons in no time.

Banana Bonbons
6oz Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips (that’s half a bag)
2 tablespoons creamy Peanut Butter
2 ripe Bananas
Chopped nuts or Candy Sprinkles for garnish

Peel and cut the bananas into 6 roughly equal pieces.

Place half the chocolate chips and the peanut butter into a microwave proof bowl and microwave 30 seconds at a time until melted. Stir in the other half of the chocolate chips. Stir until melted.

Place a piece of parchment paper on a baking sheet for the coated bananas to lay on.

Dunk the banana pieces into the chocolate covering them entirely. Fish them out with a toothpick and place them on the baking sheet.
Sprinkle the chocolate covered bananas with chopped nuts or candy sprinkles. Place them into the freezer for at least an hour.

  1. Hey I wanted to THANK YOU for sharing this neat ideal! It was fast and best of all – EASY! I was worried that I was making something that not every body might like! WRONG – WOW! I was tickled pink with myself! I was hurt in a car wreck – it tore my back all up and my neck. I live with really bad pain every day now. It cuts back on things I can do – there for making happiness something I have to reach for and most of the time it is out of reach! We had 7 people over for dinner – A Friend and the rest was Family. One was our Grandbaby 9 years old! Dinner wasn’t much, but I wanted to do something special for them all! I happened to of seen this – I thought in my head, Can I hold up to do this. Well I pulled it off and there wasn’t one that did not like it! Thank you so much for giving me something to make my whole Family and my Friend happy with. Oh My Grandbaby too – She’s the real tester!!! She ate 7 of them and she said Oh Grandma these are so good! I new then I had won everyone’s hearts and their belly’s! Good thinking who ever created this little goodie idea!
